oh snap! I got to see a Carrera GT spin out yesterday. Just got back from Lime Rock

He just gave it a bit to much gas and the back end swung around on him

It was tons of fun and I actually got to solo twice. Which was a bit different. It makes you think a lot more because you dont have someone telling you the whole time. Does anyone know of a blue R32 with an Unpimp Ze Auto sticker on the car. I was meaning to walk over and ask him but didn't get the chance

looks like some fun... glad you made it out!

I'm sure that carrera GT had a lil pucker moment... remembering the last time it went a$$ end first off the track and into a tire wall (VIR)... yeeesh.

It was a blast, I can't wait to do another one

I came back in one piece and so did my car, although I did have a bit of an accident with a friend on the way there, heh. He managed to tap me from behind and put a nice bit of rubber on my back bumper.

I have an issue with braking to early and easy. After a couple laps with the instructor's help I got much better at it. I was either tapping them to put the nose down or romping on them instead of the light and easy.

The first solo session was awesome. I was doing much better with my braking and the line through the esses. I dont know if everyone was driving slow then or I really improved during that session but I managed to pass a lot of people that I wasn't able to in earlier sessions

Yeah and the pads held up fine

The first day I was really easy on them and it rained. The second day I was a lot harder on them but at Lime Rock theres really only one spot where I'm hard on the brakes, so the track was easy on them. I probably have at least 3/4 thickness left.

I think the GT spun out 2 times after that as well but I didnt see any. Someone said he hit a wall here too, and he had a couple scratches on his bumper as well

wow... i think i'd cry if I put that car into a tire wall :-X

glad everything worked out for ya though! I def wanna hit limerock up one of these times, but it's def a haul now from where I'm living (VA beach)... used to be closer when I lived in PA, but unfortunately college kinda got in the way of that one.
