Default So I discussed my wheel/tire purchase with a couple other people before I placed the order

and decided against the purchase. It was determined that since I have non-sport stock suspension, 17" would just look stupid on my car. Not to mention wheels opens the door to major suspesion mods and big $$$.

So I'm instead going with ecodes and really nice tires on my stock wheels. Bitch and moan all you want, I feel this is a better investment.

My only question is what's the difference (other than price) of the oemhid.com D1S kit and the LLtek Serious Vision D1S kit? I thought LLtek had 42 watt HID lights, but I see no clear indication of the SV kit being that one.

Someone steer this n00b in the right direction before he wastes his money, lol.

why not just get suspension instead of the wheels or lights?

My suspension is just fine as is and it'll look equally stupid on 15" wheels.

Default Sure it won't look that good, but the car will handle a lot better than the non sport.

Then you could always upgrade the wheels/tires later.

Default nope suspension on stock wheels is the greatest look ever...but it also needs a body kit

Default Tires are a must no matter what wheels I have. That's why I was looking to get new wheels.

I figure I can get ecodes (something I've wanted since day 1) and tires for the cost of wheels and tires.

Understand this is not my track car and the handling is just fine.

Default I don't agree 100%.........

The 17's changed my car's ride and handling in a VERY big positive way. The only other thing I added was H-Sport sways and I have NO plans to do anything else... it handles very very very well now IMHO.

And I think it looks just fine on the stock suspension contrary to what everyone here thinks. Would it look much better a little lower?? Sure, of course it would... but I live in Maine and need to get places with my car.

I think the 17's are a good way to go. But with that said, lights are a good thing and the tires will make a nice difference if you get some really top quality ones.
