Install Head Unit
OK, I was search around, and mostly likely didn't find the correct post, but is there directions on how to take apart the center console. Do I really need to take the whole thing apart?

Check the tech article on "how to remove the radio"
You'll need to pick up the special tools to do it or you can fashion your own from a piece of sheet metal.
With the radio pulled out, there are two hex bolts that secure the panel (wood or carbon fiber depending on your trim) to the center console. Remove those and then you carefully pull the whole panel off.
With all that removed, you'll have plenty of access to everything you need. Removing the panel is recommended since it's easy to scratch it while working in there.
