I need new rear brakes. What's my best upgrade route? S4 rears?

I figure might as well upgrade while I'm replacing. Any suggestions would be great.

OEM rotors + Hawk HPS pads. The return on investment for anything more...

elaborate/expensive isn't going to repay you with much in the way of shorter stopping distances. If you want to stop faster, beef up the front brakes.

I bought S4 rears complete , with rotors, shields, carriers, and calipers for $250

that included shipping charges. I have used Axxis/ PRB ceramic pads and put a new set on the S4 setup also. I do notice a difference with S4 rears. If you can get them cheap do it, or do a good set of pads. pictures in picture poster

I may just do this. The ECS full S4 rear upgrade w/o pads is $900.

I want to do TT carriers/A8 rotors up front when they're due. Just do ATE rotors and HPS pads then.

i bought mint s4 calipers for about 100 each from car-part.com

rotors and dust shields from ecs, and pads from stoptech
