Default TJ: how oversteer prone is your car?

I was all set to pull the trigger on the Vogtland Club Spec springs until a couple days ago. I was at a track event and talking with one of the instructors. He was telling me that just a rear sway will make it oversteer plently and that by putting stiffer rear springs in with a sway will make it tail happy. I like a little bit of understeer. The thing is, he didn't have an A4 so I dont know if there is any truth to what he said, so I figured I would ask you

Default sway bar will definitely help you.

i put hsports on my car but first installed the rear and drove for a day. simple flick of the steering wheel would throw the car around (and set at softer setting). putting the front on neutralized the car a bit but it's a more neutral feeling right now.

i'm thinking of getting coilovers soon (have koni yellows with neu race currently) with significantly higher spring rates in the rear and i'll definitely write a review.

Default My car isn't prone to oversteer at all. In fact it's pretty close to neutral.

If you go into a turn hot (0 angle on the road) my car will show a slight bit of understeer until you lift. At which point depending on how fast/angle/load the car will start to oversteer. catching it is easy, just apply throttle. That isn't to say the car won't oversteer under throttle it can. It's very easy to drive.

Default I had a set of those

The best handling tire I've ever had. I do suggest you rotate them every other week or you'll be buying a new set in 20,000 miles.

Actually you probably will anyway. Every good year tire I've owned suffered tread seperation long before it was worn out.
