new problem, last night fuel gauge goes crazy..today

sometimes i push my gas tank to the very limit and after that the gas light will come on randomly on a full tank and the gauge will read empty, but will bounce around- at about a half tank it stop doing it, and after a few tanks of proper fueling it seems to reset and stop doing that. As for the new prob- my car would stall while driving (when i took it out of gear), a plastic hose was broken ( i think part of the PCV valve or something like that) (2.8 engine) i dont kno if it helps but its something for you to look at i guess, good luck with that
