what part is this? (long)

the part in this picture IS NOT THE PART i want to know about. At the bottom of the track that this particular green guide slides on, there is a green clip of some nature with three green tabs that stick through the track towards te inside of the car. 1, is there a picture of this somewhere, and 2, is this part just pressure fit in there via the tabs?
I installed 5.25" JL speakers in the door and the window just nicks in there. I want to use a spacer that pushes against the guide (and on the 3 tabs) and put it between that and the door to push the guide closer to the outside door skin.
The reason I ask if it is just pressure fit is i dont want my spacer to pop the green tabs out. Thanks in advance and sorry for the confusing post
