Is this where you empty the engine coolant from?

If not, where can i find it on a 97 2.8?

The oil filter is at the bottom of the pic.

Check the front side of the radiator on the drivers side, lower corner....

there should be a drain there, AFAIK.

there's a drain plug on the radiator... if you're looking at the front of the car,

it's on the lower right.

I have seen that. I thought there is another location that you would leak the coolant that resides..

in the engine from.

Can someone confirm that the radicator is the only location to empty the coolant?

There's a plug like that on the 1.8T engine, that drains the engine block of ....

coolant. But the V6 engines don't have anything like that. There is, however, an allen bolt at the seam of the engine & transmission, that will drain coolant from the engine block. It's a 6mm allen, accessible from the bottom, and it's side by side with an oil pan bolt. I think it's the one on the drivers side.... You'll know when you've found it, when coolant comes out. ;-)
