APR STAGE3 CAT PROBLEMS 3RD TIME!!!
here we go again, Been getting catalyst system bank 1 eff. below threshold. The other times I kept getting this code my cat was cracked. The last time I had it welded, the guy who did it said it would crack again because the quality of steel is the cheapest kind.

I thought it would hold but it cracked again Am I the only one with this problem?

This was the last one, it completely cracked off. I have the RS4 mounts and they are not blown. My exhaust has a flex pipe at the downpipe. This is getting annoying. There has to be other people with the same problem. I have had stage3 for like 14 months now and this will be the 3rd cat that has cracked, they are all on the turbo flange too. I am thinking they need a V band cat.

Im gonna get the ATP turbo vband flange

I wll have to get the cat pipe with o2 sensors custom made

Then Ill just get the Vband put on the cat -Random Technology- one that comes with the APR kit. ATP's cat delete pipe is $395 but the orientation of the turbo is different from what they tell me. The manifold they use has the turbo sitting higher on the engine.
