Need advice on a quick question ...

I think im going to have my control arms and all 4 wheel bearings done at the same time, if i dont do them myself, I am going to have Brian @ Brian's Garage do them. Heres my question, he charges 70 an hour for labor if he buys the parts and 90 if i buy the parts. Should i let him order the parts hoping he gets good ones or should I buy the parts knowing they will be good brand wheel bearings and febi bilstein control arms?

Why not ask him what hes going to buy?

a lot of places wont warranty the work if you bring the parts

call him up and ask what parts hes going to use. If he isnt using quality stuff, ask him to order it

If you think he may BS you, you may want to reconsider letting him work on your car...

I have had work done by him, he's great. Everyone recommends him

My regional forum sent me there, and all they had to say was he's great, I've heard plenty in Needham and other places about him aswell. My timing belt cost me about 300 in labor for everything, my steering rack was 900 including the parts(covered under warranty) So i'm sure of it that he does good work, but I know what your trying to say.

I was just thinkin he may want to make more money on the parts so I wasn't sure if he would buy best of the best in parts.
