Couldn't find AutoRX in a store locally so I picked up Marvel Mystery Oil instead. Can I use

it like I planned to use AutoRX? Run it a month (around 1500-2000 mi) in the engine changing the filter half way through?

I would use B&G QuickClean- it's a much better product.

Make sure you follow the directions and I wouldn't run it for that many miles.

Something about the word "Mystery" in a product that goes in my engine...doesn't sit well with me...

I think the deal with Auto-RX is that it works slowly...

so it doesn't break anything loose to clog your oil passages.

I would still go with B&G- proven to be some of the best products out there.

This is post-B&G engine flush, so I might get some and toss it in when I change the filter

in a couple weeks.

Mail-order.Use the MMO for a while, it works.Good uses are intake w/Seafoam & for piston so

discount code ARXF1 might work.

Piston soak is poured into sparkplug holes 2-3 oz with a solvent and let sit after cranking without plugs (no hydrolock, towel over holes). Also mixed with seafoam/berrymans during the intake clean, load it up with MMO and turn the engine off. Let that **** soak in and then finish the treatment with solvent (seafoam).
