whining noise at LOW rpm's, power steering pump?
so heres the deal. i first noticed this when i was driving slow in my neighborhood, not giving it gas and it would downshift itself (tip), and around 1500>rpm's it would make a whine noise that went along with the rev's. the higher the rev's, the higher the whine. until about 2k it would disappear and sound fine.
then when it would be in park i could tilt my steering wheel back and forth and it would make that noise again.
its one thing after another, my door panel is ripped off aswell (anyone AZ local want to help me replace window reg. clips? ha)
let me know, ive been driving like this for a little bit and its annoying/scary/embaressing rolling through a parking lot with this whine noise.ha
Or if you don't want to disconnect hoses, just pull all the old fluid out with a turkey baster, and put in fresh fluid. Then start it up, (with front wheels jacked up) turn the wheel lock to lock. Shutdown and suck out the fluid again. Pour more fresh stuff in. Repeat the procedure until the fluid stays green. I did that with mine and it's been quiet for 10k miles now.
