cheapest non-bose speaker adapters?

cheapest non-bose speaker adapters?
where is everyone finding their cheapest adapters online? i went in to replace all my non-bose speakers with aftermarket ones and found that the bolt pattern doesnt match up..duh!
the stock speakers have 3 screws in a triangle pattern and the aftermarket ones have 4 in a square pattern.
i havent even looked at the tweeters or rear speakers yet, so i dont know if those need adapters aswell.

I made a set out of mdf. Seems to be the best way to go
I didn't want to look around online and spend $50 for some plastic part, so I made some from mdf.
It's really easy if you want to do it. Just get the stock speakers, mark the locations of the holes on the board, get your aftermarket speaker, offset it from the stock holes and mark the holes, then cut out a ring. Cheap and easy. It's more solid than those plastic ones too...should absorb the movement much better than a thin plastic ring.

this sounds dumb, but whats mdf?
im pretty sure i see what your talking about though, cant be that complicated.
drill out some stock hole's so it will be held into place, then drill new holes for the new speakers to hold onto...aka an adapter! ha
mdf? whats that, some sort of material thats easy to work with?
