My 2.8 is in today for it's timing belt change. 4 hours for belt, plus another hour for the water pump. 5 hours total. $860 for the total job (from a VW dealer...) Audi wanted 8 hours for the job.
Oh, scratch that! Just got a call from the dealer, he quoted me that price for a 1.8T What an ***. It's now coming out to $1,300 (+ serp belt and oil change) due to the part price differences.
