Broken Hood Release Cable

My hood release cable broke today, making me a verry pisssed person. I tried to pull on the cable to see if it is intact and ended up pulling the whole cable out. So now there is no cable or release handle from the cabin to the hood and I cant seem to pop open the hood from the outside. I have a 1.8t A4. Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions would be helpful.

None of the articles on this page helped, The only way to open the hood is to either A) Take the bumper off or B) Break the grill or C)Stealership

it cost me 300 dollars to replace a broken hood release, what a ****ing rip off. I am never buyin an audi ever again.
