Going to pickup a new battery today and searching has told me the Optima Red/Blue top do not fit

without a bracket being fabricated.

For those who have it, how did you go about making the bracket for it to fit? Most of the pictures people posted are long gone...

I just screwed in an L bracket, very easy

battery from sears FTW.

8 year warranty.

i replaced my battery 3wks ago w/ a Bosch battery from Pepboys....

I used a "Lynx" universal bracket & fit perfectly. Not sure if it would work on an Optima.

That's what I currently have installed. I have no idea how old it is or proof of purchase.

Hmm, where did you get the L-bracket or is just something off the shelf?

new one will cost you a c note, but it will come with 100 months of warranty as well.

this was the bracket I used, not the battery though.

They way I installed my 34R

was I drilled a new hole for the stock braket. This has worked very well for almost a year. One you install the 34R you'll see what i mean.
