Does an 18x8.5 BBS RKII with tyre weigh less than a stock S4 wheel/tyre?

Careful with the rim/tire combo
the rkii has an offset of 32 and if you combine them with 235's you'll definitly have to roll your fenders. BTW, i don't know if the wheel tire combo will weigh less than the stock wheel tire combo but the rkii weighs in at 24.9 lbs for the 18x8.5 while the stock avus is about 27.<p>Andrew Lee

Not so...
I have 18x8.5 RXII's which also have a 32mm offset. I'm running 235/35 Pilot Sports and the car is lowered with H&R CO's (about 1.6" drop). Even with three passengers they will not rub under hard cornering. I had the front a bit lower before but it was only then that the fronts would rub the inside lip of the fender. No problems with my current set-up.

I've been drooling over your pics and decided I have to get a set!
I was going to try the RS4 wheels, but I think they'll be a bit heavy, and probably stick out a bit too far.
Did you notice any difference in ride, steering or handling when you got yours?

Good to hear.
When I autox with 235's on my RCs (35mm offset), I'll get rubbing on the black plastic fenderwell, and I've got some stiff coilovers. I figured a set of wheels with 33mm offset would rub even more.<p>Andrew Lee
