Ace Lola owners: Lug bolt question

Several folks have said they used their stock lugs t hold the lolas on.

My sport wheels from my A4 1.8T are ball seat lugs, where the seat in the wheel is a hemisphere in shape.

The seat in the Lolas is a tapered seat, which his a straight section, like a portion of a cone.

Just wondering what others were using for lugs.

Assuming I get the lugs taken care of, I should have the wheels today.

Also, did you get an Audi center cap to fit?

Ranger Bob - Good questions about the lugs.

Right now I'm using the lugs I receieved from the installer in the rear and lugs from my R-28s up front. I almost had a front wheel come off but I'm not sure if it was due to the torque settings or the size of the lub bolts (the installer's bolts were 1/4" longer) or the shape of the lugs like you just mentioned.

I will check out if my lug bolts are hemi or tapered shaped. This could help in solving my wheel coming off at speed problem.

I'm still wondering why doesn't Ace include lug bolts or even know what length/shape will work?

i believe the caps from the 16" 5spoke wheels fit. i cant remember who did it tho. :(

I was curious, because some folks said they used their stock lugs, which shouldn't work.

Cool. Now if VW center caps were not $24-$28 a piece, I would be in business.
