Bridgestone Poteza HAZARD!!!!!

In the September 25th issue of Business week, there is an article on how the Bridgestone Potenza's that come OEM on some S4's are prone to side wall blowout. One owner of the Bridgestone Potenza had a tire blowout at less than 2000 miles. As of now there is a huge argument as whether or not Audi should be placing these tires on a 3,700lb vehicle. All of you people that are experiencing bubbling in the sidewalls of your tire should report it to Audi and log in a complaint. Many people have been reporting complaints to the NHTSA and in the future an investigation maybe underway. If anyone have any similar stories I would love to hear it. I will be scanning the article soon so all you guys can read it.

Just curious, is the stock Potenza made in Japan?

Some of us S4 owners are in regular contact with NHTSA (m)

I've emailed pictures of my bubbled tire and spoken with two guys there. Someone else has already sent them an actual tire.

If you have these tires and they are damaged it's important to register a complaint on NHTSA's website.
