Also, to be able to get that tire on a given car, the tire company has to give a good deal to the car manufacturer. But that's okay, cuz they're gonna screw the customer when they want the replacements. Meanwhile, the customer sees how much the tires cost and thinks "Oh wow, my car came with really good tires"
