Audi Wheels on a VW Jetta?

I am looking to upgrade my Audi 16" 7 spoke sport wheels to 17" wheels. A friend of mine has a 2000 or 2001 VW Jetta TDI and wants to buy my wheels. Will 16" Audi wheels fit a VW Jetta? I know the two companies are essentially one but are the cars this compatible? Also, what should I charge for my wheels? Based on what I have read on the forum it seems like $650 is about average. Does this seem fair?

Won't fit...Jetta bolt pattern is 5x100; A4 is 5x112.

TT wheels will fit

and the new 5-spoke forged ones should be lighter too. The problem is you can't get them by themselves, they only come in a package.
