I'm from Mpls. Are you saying you'd use the Contis all year or just in the winter?
All year, REALLY bad idea. Why buy such a great car and hobble it w/ A/S tires?

As for winter, don't fool around. My recomendation to you would be 205/55-16 Nokian NRW's. Other good choices in a winter tire that still handle well would be Dunlop M2, Michelin Pilot Alpin, or the new Bridgestone LM-22.

Wow! I can get Studded MTB Tires from Nokian also... Way to cool

Now I don't have to double tube my wheels and use homemade studds for winter riding... I just might have to look into their car tires also...

For where you are at....

... I have to agree with Erik- dont hobble the car by switching to an all season... if you are going to do a tire swap, take advantage of what a dedicated winter tire will offer you instead of compromising to an all season tire!
