Pilot Sports, 235/40-17 on stock S4 Avus wheels. Fit or no?

Pilot Sports, 235/40-17 on stock S4 Avus wheels. Fit or no?
Is there room in there for these puppies? I think yes, but if anyone's used this particular combo and found they rub, lemme know.
Stock size is 225/45-17, so the circumference on the 235s would actually be about 2.3% smaller. It's the difference in width that I'm wondering about. It's not much, but hey, 10mm is 0.39"! Figure in sidewall flex under load, and who knows?

On OEM, wheel is too narrow (more)
Mfrs. spec (in this case Michelin) calls for a Rim Width Range of 8.00 to 9.50", so on the OEM Avus wheels (17X7.5), I am sure it has been done, but I want to stress it is not proper & not recommended by me or the tire mfrs according to their spec.
Usually okay on aftermarket wheels in that range assuming its a decent offset.
