Audi center caps on Borbet Type Es......

Audi center caps on Borbet Type Es......

The Audi Centercaps do not fit on any of the Borbet rims, so I had my friend make this sticker for me that looks pretty slick. I just put the sticker over the Borbet center cap. BUT, since the "Borbet" name is pressed into the center caps, I need to fill in the letters, sand it clean, then add the stickers again. At petit Lemans, I met a guy who had sanded his Borbet center caps down, and just left them blank polished aluminum....looked great. I may try that, then just put a 4 ring sticker in the middle for that slick OEM look. I like these rims a whole lot more since I covered up the Borbet caps.

That looks really good! One thought on that...
I have some black plastic caps like the Type C & Hs use which is a solid piece, so if anyone wants to try that in a similar manner, let me know & I can substitue them for the standard polished ones when the wheels are ordered...
