Camber Kits necessary for 18" and 1-1.5 drop?
Ok,
I've read tons of posts on coilover setups and race springs but you guys never mention anything about camber kits (from what i've read anyways =P).
So what's the deal? I know it's important even a 1-3 degree change. So do they make camber kits for audis? Should I be concerned about this? I am thinkin about getting the HR coilovers.

Camber Kits necessary for any performance...
Sure, I've mentioned it a dozen times in the past month (Racing and Perf. Forums). The Audi chassis, with even serious drops, needs much more camber for any kind of handling. I haven't tried the new kits (adj arm.), under warranty.
The problem is even more worse with wider tires/rims.
I've never lived any place that could safely run more than 16" without bending a rim.

as far as i know, a camber kit isn't necessary for lowering your a4. this is what i've been hearing on the forums for some time now. it's not even necessary to get an alignment, they say. i've heard the explaination for this is because the A4 id built to keep the tires flat on the ground no matter what height the car is at. You might want to double check this info, because i'm not sure. just regergitating it...hth.

Camber kit needed, regardless of lowering...
The dual, split a-arm design is very innovative, and the camber change in a corner is much flatter than the mac-strut design. But the issue is the net camber is far too low for real cornering.
