Is it worth $47 to get a full warranty (instead of pro-rated) on tires?

Is it worth $47 to get a full warranty (instead of pro-rated) on tires?
this is something discount tire offers, and for the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's I'm getting it would be $47. Basically it means regardless of what happens to the tire up to the end of it's tread life they'll replace it free.
With OEM Contis I had two flats. One trashed the tire, but the dealership replaced it. The other cost $15 for the dealer to repair. What probably would make a difference is at what pro-rated breakdown is from Kumho.

Generally, no.
They wouldn't sell it to you if they weren't going to make money off of it. The Kumho's are also a relatively inexpensive tire. It really depends on you. Given your luck with tires, it might be a good idea.
For myself, I rarely get flat tires (once every 75K miles or so). So over three sets of tires i would pay $150 in insurance before I would take advantage of it just once. And even if I could take advantage of it...who's to say I would be anywhere near the tire shop that sold me the insurance so that I could take advantage of it?
