Follow-up on old post regarding Oettinger wheels ("Stu B", are you still out there?)

I have been doing a LOT of wheel research in the last week. The first thing I have found out is that there is not much choice due to the caliper clearance problem we have (I will take the monstrous brakes Audi endowed us with over a pretty wheel any day!). I have only come up with one other wheel I like as much as yours. It is from Oettinger. It is made by Ronal for Oettinger, but designed by Oettinger. It is also an Audi only wheel with the exact same offset as your wheel and my "pie plates" and is the same 17x8". It is German TUV certified so I know it is of equal quality. They are $2000.00 for a set of four. All of a sudden, $2500.00 for four of yours is looking more swallowable!? I got to see them being mounted on a 2000 A6 4.2 that was silver. The silver paint used on the center section of the wheel was an exact match to this gentlemans car. They have a polished and machined lip area and are clearcoated. I still think I like your wheels better though. Aaargh!

What wheel is being referred to here? I'm hoping and praying that it is the Oettinger RE's... Any clarification from ANYONE would be GREATLY appreciated.
If you don't mind not having a warranty you can get them for $285 a wheel from SPP Supreme Power Parts...they're grey market, the wheels themselves are prob legit...but SPP is about get a big ol' can of whoop *** opened up on them by CEC and Oettinger...it's called a lawsuit...I'd stick with www.coloradowheel.com
