HAD MY RIMS FOR 2 WEEKS AND THE SERVICE STATION GAVE THEM CURB RASH!!
I had just got the car about a month ago and put 18" rims on two weeks ago. The car had to get the inspection and of course i took it to the local station for the SIMPLE inspection. Well i get the car back and look at the rim that is next to the curb and what to my surprise CURB RASH! What do i do? tell them to buy me a new rim? Can you get it fixed, if so would it cost more that a new rim? I am PISSED! I am soo **** with the car and haven't even had it long enough for something to happen to it.

HELL YA you make them pay! I'd demand the manager pay for replacement...
of course, they'll deny they did it and you have no proof... so good luck getting them to pay.
By the way, yes there are a couple of places I've heard of that repair rims. They'll weld new metal over the "rash" and machine it back down to the original dimensions.. then refinish it to the original finish. However depending on the cost of your wheels, it might make more sense just to get a new one and bite the bullet.

I always make the svc. mgr. walk around the car & look at each wheel when I first drop it off...
so that they see the wheels are in perfect condition and that I expect the same when I pick it up.
