Tires purchsed from Tirerack/Ronal
bubbles, etc, do you have to send the tire back to the firms, or do you have to send it back to the manufacturer ? And who would pay for shipping, etc ?
All of our tires except racing tires are covered by the manufacturers standard
warranties. Some tires may include mileage warranties and other additional
coverages. If you need to have a tire replaced under warranty you can either
work with us, or a local dealer that carries that brand of tire. Specific warranty
info will be supplied to you if requested.
The basic warranty on a tire covers workmanship and materials. What this
comes down to is if the problem with the tire is the fault of the manufacturer, it's
covered. If the problem was caused by the car, the driver, something in the
road, or being driven flat, it's not covered.
Mileage warranties guarantee you a specific amount of mileage from your tires.
This is "prorated", as an example, if the warranty says 40,000 miles, and you get
30,000, you've gotten 75% of what was guaranteed. You would then recieve
25% off of the price on the replacement tires. To be covered by the mileage
warranty all four tires must be evenly worn, must have been rotated, and have
some type of documentation as to the actual mileage you received. Full details
on specific warranties are available upon request.
Same info applies to wheels as well- all mfrs warranty applies. Call me to discuss any specifics you have, or when you are ready to order!
Thanks!
Eddie
