How are the stock 16" Dunlops in the snow?

Sure thing....they REALLY suck.....
...but in all seriousness, the Dunlop SP-Sport 8000E tires are totally out of their element when the mercury dips below freezing and the snowflakes start flying. For secure travel in the snow/slush/ice/etc. you'll want at the very least a decent set of all-season tires. Better yet, purchase a wheel/tire package from Tire Rack with a set of 15" (or 16") steel wheels and a good set of snow tires and be prepared to tackle the worst that mother nature throws at you this winter. My $0.02....

If you are referring to the SP8000 that come on the sport wheels
Then I would agree with the comments below. I ran them for two winters here in Colorado. I was able to go from work to home and back but had very little control and had to drive extremely careful. I also had the luxury of having a Jeep for the bad days. (Most of the time here in CO the roads are clear because of the arid climate.) I am now running Dunlop Wintersport M2s on those rims.

To clarify further...they start to lose grip rapidly below 45 degrees.
The cold temperature is not ideal for these tires. You don't even need to have snow/ice on the ground. If you are driving the car somewhat agressively in temps below 45, you will notice less traction is available. If you drive like a slow poke, these tires will be fine in the cold, until the weather turns...then you're on a 4 wheel drive sled. It'll get up and go easy enough, but stopping may require the assistance of a tree/car/building/horse...you get the point!
