Expected life of SP8000's?
I recently noticed that I have a small nail in one of my SP8000's. I have 21K miles of them. I was wondering if I should:
1) fix the one tire
2) replace the one tire
3) bite the bullet and get a new set.
I guess I'm concerned about riding around with uneven tread wear, so 1 & 3 sound like the best choices. If I go for a new set, any recommendations? I'm planning to go for my first auto-x in about a month. I live in Southern California, so snow & rain aren't issues. On the other hand, I do plan to do a little skiing up in Mammoth this year. :-)
