Question for fellow Vredestein Wintrac owners
The Wintrac has an asymmetric tread pattern. Like many asymmetric tires, it has a "forward" and "reverse" direction.
However, unlike most asymmetric tires, it also seems to have a "right" and a "left" -- the V-shaped tread pattern is off-center on the tire.
With the installation they put on my car, the "V" is biased towards the same side on both sides of the car. In other words, there is no difference between the left and right tires -- they're both off-center towards the right side of the car.
Intuitively, I'd expect there to be different left and right tires, so the V would be towards the inside or outside of the car on both sides, instead of just biased towards the right side.
Any thoughts? Are your tires set up like this too?

I don't have the tires, but your intuitions are correct.
Normally the tires would be marked as such. I presume when you look at one side of the car, you either see "left" or "right" written on the sidewall?
If yes, then look at the other side of the car...nothing there? Take the wheel off the car, and look at the back of the tire. You may just find that your intuitions are correct. :-(
