Blizzak WS15 on A4- What Pressure?
What are folks using for pressure with 15" WS-15's on an A4? The sticker on the fuel filler door says 35lbs when loaded with 4 people, but the max on the tire says 32psi... When I had the snows put on last week, the guy who checked the pressure refused to fill it to 35 as per my request....

Look inside your gas tank door
Tire pressures should be listed there, and A4 shows tire pressures for that size tire. (At least, both of my previous A4's had that info.) It even give you an idea of how much more air pressure to run if you're driving the car heavily loaded.

Thanks...Now we have an interesting problem...in the original message I said the fuel filler door says 35psi. The tire says inflate to 32psi MAX. Andy Thinks the manual says 3-5psi over the fuel filler door (or 5 or 6 lbs over the recommendation on the tire sidewall) .....

I vote for tire mfr.
If the tire manufacturer says "don't inflate over X psi" I'd believe them. If that's the max safe pressure, then that's as far as you should go. Maximum pressures on tire sidewalls aren't inflation recommendations, they're MAXIMUM pressures. They shouldn't be exceeded. So in this case, I'd say pump 'em up to the tire max. and quit there. If they drive OK, fine. If not, the solution isn't more air pressure - it's different tires.
