235/45-17s going to rub on my A6 2.7T?

I purchased 235/45-17s for my A6 2.7T (Pirelli Rossos) Now I see some complaining about their tires rubbing. Are my tires going to rub? I think they will clear the vertical strut, but are they going to rub when I turn? Or when I turn and hit a bump?

Or has Gary @ Ronal thought of everything and the rims will have the correct offset and such so they just drive normally?

I had 245/45-17s on Riva ATPs and no problem with clearance

Bridgestone RE730's is what were mounted on them. An excellent tire BTW.

I have 235/45-17s w/ RE730's, BBS RX2's, and Audi Eibach springs (8k miles) with NO rubbing.

Hemant,ChrisJB are running that size no problems on A6 2.7T

I have 235/40-18 and no problem.

I have 245/45-17s on S6 17" x 8" AVUS wheels with Eibach lowering springs...no problems.

I've run two track events with this set-up and have had no problems at all. You are right, clearances are tight, but still "no worries". My tires are Yoko AVS Sports.
