235 40's on A4

235 40's on A4

I have a 2000 A4 with 18 by 8 1/2 inch Momo Racers. I currently have 225 40's on them, is it possible to put 235 40's on? I also have kw coilovers and it's dropped about 2 inches. Your help is apericated.

It Might Rub...

Plus it will throw off your speedo.

Do you have any rubbing problems now?

Normal driving does not rub. It does rub however when making high speed tuns and I hit an unexpected bump in the road.

With a 2" drop it certainly could. The wheels offset will determin that mostly, esp. if it is low (35mm or lower).

Your best bet is to keep the 225/45s.
