what about s03's? or 9090s? is any given one "better" or longer lasting?

I don't know about the 9090's, but the SP9000's are rated for a longer treadlife than the S03's.

Where do you live? Are you sure you want summer tires? If it gets much below 40 degrees and you're not switching to winter tires, you'll definitely want some good all-season tires. I believe both the Dunlop SP Sport 5000, and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S offer matched sets for the SLK.

she doesn't drive if its below 36ish, she just hops in my step dads a6 2.7t and rides with him, they

work close to each other.
