OK track tire time....
I'm open to suggestions on track tires. Don't care if they are street legal or not. I want something that will last about 2-3 events at least, and is under $200 tire in 17" size. I want something that will make it stick like glue too

I have a set of stickered Falken GRB-FK 451's I would be willing to part with. They're 225/45ZR17's. These are the best tires you're gonna get for the money. I used the same tire in a 16" at Mid-Ohio last year, and they were great. They stick like velcro, give you plenty of feedback, and wear very well. You might get 5 track days out of them if used judiciously. I don't want a ton of money for them, and if you'd be willing, we could work a lower price in exchange for some time with your fender roller (I contacted you about that the other day). Let me know what you think.

These are NEW, stickered tires I'm talking about...
...They haven't rolled a single foot. They're 225/45ZR17's, and are currently mounted on a set of wheels I'm thinking about selling. The ones I used at Mid-Ohio are the same type as the ones I'm trying to sell.

V700s, Falken Azenis or Yoko A032Rs
Rob,
I've heard good things about V700s (track tire) and the Azenis (really sticky street tire). Pete ran the A032Rs at TWS this last weekend and liked them alot. He cut a good 5 seconds off his AVS Sport track times.
Pricing:
You're running 235 now right?
235/40/17:
V700 - $132.00
A032R - $159.00
I only found the Azenis in 225 and 245 in 17.
225/45 - $108.00
245/45 - $115.00

just notice something very beneficial about the New Kuhmo ECSTA.......
like our Audi's will do, outer edge wear (our limited camber) is pretty heavy when agressively driven.........
The ECSTA allows you to now flip the tires around "inside-out" and wear the relatively Fresh inner tread on the outside...like 2 tires in 1.
