Deciding on rims/tire combo....
I'm wondering...should I go 235/35/18...with BBS CH's and SP9000's? Does this setup work? Planning on running coilovers.
I think the CH's weigh in at 19 lbs. each??? What kind of new cornering characteristics can I expect with this type of setup? Thanks in advance. Trying to make a decision by the 17th.
this is a pretty good writeup on those wheels by James R. Also, I think Gorobei has 18" CH. otherwise I don't know too much, but there may be some rubbing issues. good luck
I plan on putting 225/40/18 S03's on them. I also plan to put (H&R) coilovers on my car. I have heard of too many rubbing issues with the same wheel and coilovers when a wider tire has been used. So, to be on the same side I am sticking w/ 225/40/18 - I also just want to stick with the recommended width. I have heard of no complaints from 18" wheel owners w/ 225/40/18 who have used coilovers unless their car is really slammed. I'm only looking for a drop of about 1 - 1 1/2 inches.
Down the road I am going to get the Stoptech kit. Yes, they do fit.
