I generally wax them at least every other time I wax the car...
That will help to prevent brake dust from sticking. Then, on a weekly basis, after I wash the car, I spray them down with One Grand Show Off detailing spray and wipe them with a 100% cotton terry cloth rag. If the car is clean, but the wheels are dirty and I want to clean them without washing the car, I also just spray them down with One Grand Show Off and the dust wipes right off. Just don't do it if the wheels are hot.
I have BBS wheels also, and this should keep them sparkling clean. Hope this helps.

Who said about getting it on the rotor pads. You'd have to be real sloppy to do that...
The wheels are painted, so this is a real great way to clean them, and keep them shiny without stripping the wax. P21S Wheel cleaner, while ph neutral, will completely strip the wax off. Unless you plan on waxing them every week, I'd only use this when you're doing a major detailing or when they're very dirty.

I use a soft wash mitt like the one I use on the paint, and I use fresh new soapy water (car wash).
Also waxing is very nice for the CH's. I also make a point to run the mit around the inside of the wheel and get all that grime off too. It makes everything look so much better than just cleaning the painted surface.
