Default Detailing question: What do people use to clean their wheels when washing the car...

I normally use the spong or mitt that I use for the car, and just do them last, but I'm curious what others are using as I normally have to follow up with a rag to get all the crevices. TIA

Default let's see...

I wash them with car soap using a cotton towel/cloth/rag. I usually wash the wheels first, then wash the car. This way, when I'm done washing the car, I can dry it out right away, and not have to wash wheels and let water create water spots on the car's paint. Of course, I change water in the soap bucket before starting on the car.

I also wax them with Wheel Wax or any other wax that I have available once every couple of months. Doesn't do much for brake dust accumulation (damn OEM brake pads!) but makes the subsequent cleanings easier.

Default I read it, thanks. I'm talking about some type of very small sponge on a handle, or brush that

won't scratch. The general technique I use. I'm literally talking about what you use. I use a sponge, but it can be a PITA to get into all the small places and I was wondering if there was anything else maybe you could recommend.

Default I can say "EBC Green" ! ....

yeah, I can't wait for my stock pads to wear out. At this point I'm leaning towards EBC, as I've heard some people report sqealing with Mintex.

The current Mintex pads have a rubber backing (at least on the fronts)...no more squealing

Default Mine don't squeal after 6k miles, but wheels get dirty relatively quickly once again.

Granted, I'm probably using the term "dirty" pretty generously, but put it to you this way: I can see visible dust on the rear wheels as early as a day after cleaning them. It's definitely not as bad as I remember the oem pads to be, but neither does it have the clean staying power that I remember when the Mintex pads were new.
