how do fm901 compare with sp9000s?
SP9000 is more of a high performance street tire, with low noise and good overall dry/wet performance, but can't take the track abuse too well. Longer treadlife too (280 IIRC).
However, TireRack lists the FM901 in UHP category, and SP9000 in Max Perf. category, so I may be wrong. Maybe Eddie will chime in here...
The FM901s have taken the place of the W-10, which is their 'entry level' UHP tire, mostly aimed appearance & sizewise at the import tuner market.
Hope this helps!<ul><li><a href="http://216.239.35.100/search?q=cache:t5_mgUCD7twC:www.segalmedia.com.au/worddocs/fm901.doc+FM901+dunlop&hl=en">Press release</a></li></ul>
