Requesting your technicial input...
...on the list below, I think I've settled a 17" in this 'style'. I really want to know which one(s) I shouldn't consider, for whatever technicial reason(s):
Kahn RSR
Voxx MGR
Moda R6
Ace Lola (Does the center cap come off?)
Mas President

Lola center caps are removable and can be replaced with Audi ones, grey or silver.
I just got a set, as did a number of other people who've been waiting for the last couple of months. Part of what attracted me to them was the solid rep they developed way back when they were one of the 'hot' wheels for A4s (like 1999-2000). You can do an archive search and find the same comments I did. People who bought them then loved the looks and found they held up well. I got in touch with a couple of those owners earlier this year and they still were happy with them. Obviously the price is a factor, too...I actually bought a backup for my set in case they go out of production permanently.
You've probably read up and know about forging vs. cast alloys. Supposedly Ace's factory (in Taiwan) has newer equipment that uses a vacuum to suck the liquid alloy into the mold, making the wheel denser and with fewer 'voids,' the plague of cheap alloys.
I don't know anything about the other makes you cited, but someone on AW must own each of them and you're bound to get an opinion if not a metallurgical study. You might get more responses on the general A4 (or TT, whatever) boards.
FWIW they're all good looking, clean designs in my book!

ps: I weighed one of my Lolas right out of the box and it came in at 23lbs on my postal scale.
