Getting new tires for my stock sport rims... any opinions?

i'm looking for something reasonably priced for my b6 2003 a4 1.8T Quattro... im riding on stock 17's 235/45/17... i live in socal so i believe high perf. tires would be good... any opinions/comments would be appreciated.. thanks in advance

and the less information you provide us, the more irrelevant they're going to be.

What car?
What size tires?
What season?
What are your expectations?

How are we supposed to know all this? My crystall ball is out of order...

If you want something low priced, check out Falken ST115, Kumho MX, or the Dunlops Reggie mentioned.

I just bought the AvonM500(see above pic)

I was looking for a good bang for the buck tire, That was a dedicated summer tire with as decent a tread wear rating that can be expected from a dedicated summer tire. From what I've read from reviews and tests, it has a good ride, good grip wet and dry, the tire is a liitle soft in the side walls with comparable tires, so turn response isn't quite as good, but still grips well. It's suppose to be a decently quiet tire in it's respective catagory.

I had narrowed it down to this tire and the FalkenST115, which gets recommended here on AW quite often for people looking for longer tread wear in a summer tire.
