Worst tires ever???

This thread was getting pretty good on another auto forum, I thought I'd link it for reading and to start a thread on the same subject here. Anyway, my vote for worst tires in recent memory are Pirelli P6000 S/V. They get bubbles and are wanting for snow or cold/wet grip. I used some Cheng-Shen tires on a sport bike once, they were so bad I went and bought a set of Bridgestone Spitfires and they saved my life. I think my lil cousin has 18" Cheng-****s on his Eclipse. They are breaking apart quickly bit by bit. My uncle's 2 year-old Coopers are bald and dry-rotted. So, yeah, the other thread is informative and funny reading. The drag radials right? I've got the regular NT555's and they seem fine to me.

I bought a car with the MXV4+, hated them. Sold 'em for big $$$ and bought new SP5000s whew!

atta boy! I sold the whole car with them.

And then on the A4, I sold the oem rims with P6000s on them.

sorry. I meant NT555's. Not the drag radials

I think 225/40R18 NT555's are worse than the stock 205/55R16 SP8000E's.

The Nittos are slippery (for a high performance tire) and got super loud. Handling was alright. They did last a long time. Too long, because I couldn't wait to replace them with something else.

FWIW, I'm comparing to Proxy's (I forget which one maybe FZR?), RE73's (before 730's), and Michelin PS. Well, the Proxy's and RE73's were on a different car (much lighter car), so maybe it's not a good comparison.

I just bought PS2's to replace the PS'. I'm assuming they'll be just as good or better than the PS'.
