DunlopSP9090 OR GoodyearEagleF1GSD3 ???

2002 Audi A4 3.0 Q w/sport package 17" wheels. Almost time for replacement. Whats more bang for the buck. Priorities are blockiness, treadwear and overall performance.

Choices:
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Bridgestone Pole Position
Dunlop SP Sport 9090

DunlopSP9090 is not a real performance tire.

It's a great street tire if you want quiet, good in the rain,

I run them now and would get them again.

Of those the 9090 is the most comfort oriented.

I'm liking my F1 GSD3's

Better handling wet or dry (and wet performance is amazing) than the stock CSC2's, quicker turn-in, and pretty comparable in the comfort and noise categories. I'm hoping that they will last a little longer than the CSC2's as well. I have the same car as you, only an '03.

Thanks for your response! Awesome car ain't it. I just wish Audi had put a little more power since their so heavy.

I've heard from a few people that their a bit noiser than the Dunlops, but tests and consumer surveys have listed the Goodyear to be LESS noisier? How much did you pay for the 235/45/17's if that's what you got?

They were around $180 a tire, from the local Discount Tire store. Stock size - 235/45 R17. The local Goodyear store offered a similar price, but slightly higher. In all, the F1 GSD3's were slightly less than if I would have gotten another set of CSC2's.
