Do 1/2" lug nuts with an R12 ball seat exist?
In order to run 7x16 '98 Mercedes CLK320 wheels on my A4 for autocrossing, I have to use 14mm->1/2" conversion studs (which, surprisingly, fit the 12mm holes in the wheels perfectly), ball seat->60-degree adapter washers, and 60-degree 1/2" lug nuts. I also use hub rings to adapt the larger Mercedes centerbore to Audi's 57.1mm centerbore (although this may not be absolutely necessary for my relatively low-speed usage).
While this setup works very well -- I saved 68lbs of unsprung weight compared to the 8x17 wheel / 245/40-17 tire setup I previously ran! -- I would prefer not to use adapter washers, especially as the ones I use have an R13 ball seat profile and Mercedes used an R12 profile on these wheels. While I haven't noticed any problems so far, perfectionist that I am, I'd like to use the proper profile lug nuts if at all possible.
To date, I've had no luck finding such a lug nut and wonder if they even exist. Any suggestions about where I might find some?
