Gary, does Tire Rack periodically review recommended installers?

I had a set of tires mounted at an installer, they scratched a wheel, and essentially told me to take a hike. "a $200 repair isn't worth the $20 in labor" or something to that effect. Mind you I didn't ask them to fix the wheel, I just brought the scratch to their attention. Didn't even offer to discount the installation (which probably would have been acceptable). I'd used them before and had been very happy with the service. does dinging them on a survey do anything (other than hopefully preventing others from going to them)?

Our installer program guys would be very interested to hear the details of your experience. We would greatly appreciate if you would email your experience to 'bill@Tirerack.com', the head of our installer program staff. Be sure to include the name and address of the installer, and as much as you can remember. We don't take kindly to installers mistreating our customers that we recommend to them.
