Default PZero Rosso directional ? assymetrical? Can't find definitives in search

Here's what my oem's look like - I'm putting them back on for the summer and all 4 tires are identical like the above, yet to me, that tread pattern doesn't look mirror image when I look at the two rears from the back of the car. 235/40ZR18 They don't say "assymetrico" or "direzionale" on 'em anywhere.
Maybe thats the way they are supposed to be, it just seems they'll wear weird.

Default Assymetric only...

One side of the tire should say "inside", while the other will say "outside", or something similar.

Thanks for the input. That is true - they do and the sidewall that says outside is on the outside. The thing that confuses me is that if you imagine two of the wheels with their identical tread pattern sitting side by side with the outer face of the wheel on the right, ready to be put on the car, the tread would roll the same direction if they were both put on the passenger side of the vehicle for instance. If I put one on the passenger front, and then flipped one of them around to be on the drivers side front, it seems to me the tread would roll "backwards" relative to the one on the passenger side. I would think this would induce strange wear characteristics. I guess Audi wouldn't do it wrong - they are the way it came from the factory - but it seems weird.
My A4 had pilot primacy's that wore strangely with in the first 5k and I always wondered why. I'll have to keep an eye on these.

Is the tire marked "This side out" on the sidewall? That's how my zero neros are identified, and they are asymmetrical, but not exactly like the zero rossos. Anyway, have to have the correct side outwards, regardless of the direction of the tire.

It's because the outside of the tire performs a different function than the inside - they stiffen it up, different tread pattern, or whatever when they design the tire. So all four tires are the same on the outside when properly mounted.

Default Yeah, they say something like external/outer on the sidewall.

It must not matter what direction they roll.....
