What causes this...
These tires are Toyo T1-s. I have the same ones and have the same problem...I have a few ideas of what it could be...maybe because of no camber kit installed? it's caused by the "single compound" (soft 'n sticky)
tread used in the now, "old school" T1-S. Newer "dual" or "multi" compound tires like the Goodyear GSD3, Michelin Pilot Sport 2, and the Toyo T1-R, use harder or more wear resistant rubber on the inner portion of the tread. High negative camber settings, used in sport tuned cars, place a higher load on the inner tread. The soft T1-S's treads wear rapidly as a result (mine lasted 15k miles). Newer designs resist this wear thanks to "harder" inner tread compounding and remain "sticky" thanks to softer compound used for the remainder of the tread.
