New tires for B6 Avant (non-sport)... any recommendations?

Size 215/55R-16

I'm considering the following:

Potenza S03 [with dedicated snows]
Potenza RE950 [with dedicated snows]
Potenza G009
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S

Any comments?

I have the OEM Pirelli P6 FourSeason... they're Ok, not great. Remarkably decent in the wet and snow, but dry grip is marginal. To improve Winter driving, I was planning on getting dedicated snows, but I'm curious about the G009 and Pilot A/S.

Is the performance increase from the S03 worth the extra cost over the RE950?

I'm not racing or anything, just want a great handling tire. But, I've also got some college funds to fund, so I don't want to throw away money

What about other UHP tires?

I like my Falkens quite a lot; excellent wet and dry traction, and quite stiff sidewalls for handling. Downside is noise, but far as I know the S03 is not quiet either. Major upside is the low cost of the Falkens.

Pilot A/S has only marginal snow capability, but great in dry and good in wet, from my experience.
